This time of year feels like snacking weather to me. You know, when it starts getting chilly outside. All I want to do is cuddle up inside of blankets on the couch, and snack to my hearts content. When I do all that cuddling & snacking (cudacking?), it makes me feel a little bit better about it when it’s pretzels.
However, pretzels get kind of boring on their own. You feel me with this? They just do. That’s why I must make my favorite dip for them to go along. The dip is mustard based, and I prefer use Colman’s because of the spicy kick it gives. Otherwise, you’d have to use horseradish to give it that kick – and I’m all for simplified ingredients in recipes.

Not only do I like to dip my pretzels in this – but here’s a fantastic appetizer idea for you. Spread just a little on a piece of ham, fold it into a small square or triangle – and then skewer a pretzel through the middle. They’re delicious!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup prepared Colman's Mustard
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon ranch salad dressing mix
- Pretzels
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Colman's mustard, onion, and salad dressing mix. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve with pretzels.
