Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons
Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup.
A classic.
Right?
It’s been a favorite meal of mine ever since I was a little girl -and luckily my children & husband loves it just as much as I do.
A few weeks ago, I was making us a lunch of it – and decided to do something just a little different. Â I usually slice the grilled cheese in half and serve it alongside a bowl of soup – but this time I cut the sandwich into little squares…. Grilled Cheese croutons!
Now, instead of dunking the sandwiches you can eat them with a spoon. Â Genius.
Mmm this one looks so comforting and perfect for cold nights!
I would love to have you share them at Wednesday Extravaganza – my Foodie Link Party with a special something! Here is the link: http://www.hungrylittlegirl.com/1/post/2012/12/wednesday-extravaganza-7-christmas-giveaway.html
Can’t wait to see you there 🙂
Yum! I need to do that! But I would also want a grilled cheese on the side as well b/c I am obsessed with them:)
I love tomato soup and grilled cheese. This sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing on Foodie Friends Friday. Please come back Sunday to vote.
I was hoping for a good Tomato soup recipe. : (
Don’t worry – I’ll be bringing mine to the Mrs before too long 🙂 This was more of a tip than a recipe.
