DIY Burlap Wrapped Candles for Spring
I am so ready for Spring! We’re officially there already, but the weather hasn’t seemed to have gotten the memo yet.
But, I’m busy getting my house all Spring-y regardless – because sooner or later, it’s coming!
These Burlap Wrapped Candles are my latest project, and they’re absolutely adorable – not to mention easy.
I was piddle-paddling through the aisles of Wal-Mart when I came across this gorgeous dyed burlap in the craft department. Â And the price was super cheap for a roll of it – around $3 bucks! Â As soon as I saw it, I had visions in my head of how pretty the blue would be around plain white pillar candles – so that’s what I did.
I cut the dyed burlap to fit, and then I folded it in half lengthwise – and then wrapped it around the candle. Â I used a bit of hot glue to fasten the two ends together in the back, and ta-da… it was done!
When I bought the dyed burlap, I also found these adorable burlap flowers!
I made a candle for my teenage daughter to decorate with by simply hot gluing one of the flowers on the front of the burlap wrapped candle.
Flower Power!
So, in just a few minutes – I made 4 gorgeous Spring-y candles on the cheap. Â I’m totally loving these!
