Easy Teddy Graham Valentine’s Cake
Can you believe Valentine’s Day is next week? WHOA! Actually, it’s just 4 days away now. That’s shorter than a week.
Well, if you’re always behind on holidays like I am – then this super easy Valentine’s cake is going to be right up your alley.
You can make this with any cake and any frosting. I went with strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting. For the cake, I doctored up a strawberry cake mix by replacing the water with milk, adding an extra egg, & a splash of vanilla. The frosting is homemade – real basic. 2 8oz packs of cream cheese + 1 stick of unsalted butter (both at room temp) + 1 tsp vanilla extract beaten til creamy. Then, I mix in 1.5 cups of confectioners sugar a little at a time and whip til smooth.
I did a crumb coating first by very thinly frosting the cake & then refrigerating it for about an hour. Then, I frosted the cake as normal & refrigerated for about 30 minutes for the icing to get good and ‘set’. Then, I placed Sweet Tart Conversation Hearts all around the outside of the cake. Afterwards, I stuck some Cupcake flavored Teddy Grahams in the top of the cake with a conversation heart right up against it to make it look as if the teddy bear is holding the heart.
Cute, right? I think so.

Hi. I love the idea of the Valentine Strawberry cake with Teddy Bears on top. My question is: Did you make a double layer cake or single layer? Thanks, Karen.
This is such a great idea for a kid’s Valentine’s Day cake! I’m making this today and my daughter can’t wait to help me out with the decorating 🙂
