{3 Ingredient} Watermelon Lemonade Slush

Watermelon Lemonade Slush – this is the drink you need to be sipping on to beat that intense Summer heat! Bonus points, it’s super easy & only requires 3 ingredients and one of them is ice!

Summer time is definitely upon us. I’m sure it’s hot everywhere but here in Georgia, I feel like we just relocated off of the planet & moved halfway between Earth & the Sun. It. Is. HOT.

Also, how does the wicked witch in Wizard of Oz melt when the water is thrown on her?? For real. I’m melting over here and am secretly hoping that someone will throw a bucket of water on me. Geez.

With all this intense Summer heat going on, I am in desperate need of some refreshments to help me cool off some… you know, to sip on while I’m inside chilling beside the air conditioning vents.

Did I mention it was hot? Oh.. I did. Sorry about that. Sometimes I tend to be repetitive. πŸ˜‰

I’ve been beating that Summer heat with 4 refreshments so far – this super easy Strawberries & Cream Agua Fresca, Blueberry Lemonade,Β Creamy Brazilian Lemonade, & this absolutely delicious (and super duper easy – it only haws 3 ingredients!) Watermelon Lemonade Slush.

And yes – it only has 3 ingredients & one of those ingredients is ice… so 2 ingredients plus ice? I dunno. I’m gonna go with 3 ingredients so folks know I can count. haha

Plus – it’s EASY. You just take those 3 ingredients & throw them (ok… don’t actually throw it unless you’re Michael Jordan or Shaq…) into your blender, and turn that sucker on.

Told ya it was easy!

Sit down, pour a glass & crank up that AC. Β It’s so delicious.

Or, take it outside if you’re brave like my 8 year old & enjoy the 982 degree temperatures. I’ll tell Dorothy to bring over a bucket of water to throw on you. You’re gonna need it along with a whole pitcher of this. πŸ˜‰

{3 Ingredient}

3 Ingredients – and one of them is ice!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups lemonade (I really like the Simply Lemonade brand, not sponsored – just my favorite)
  • 3 cups seedless watermelon
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Directions:

In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses (if desired, keeps them ‘slushy’ for longer). Serve immediately.

**For an extra pretty touch, twirl the glass rims in a saucer filled with a little water & then dip in another saucer with sugar using a twisting motion to adhere the sugar to the glass. Slice a slit in a small triangle of watermelon & slick it on the glass.
