Three words.

Cake Batter Milkshakes.

Funfetti Cake Batter Milkshakes

What’s better than that? This recipe only has 3 ingredients!

  • vanilla ice cream
  • milk
  • Funfetti boxed cake mix (or any other cake mix)

These milkshakes are like a drinkable cake. The delicious cake batter flavor comes from Funfetti cake mix. Not the batter just the cake mix! It’s like a birthday party in a glass. The kind of birthday party where you get everything you want. Because quite frankly, this milkshake has everything you could possibly want in it. Well, at least everything that I could possibly want. 😉

How do I make my milkshake all pretty like the one in the picture with the sprinkles on the rim of the glass?

You just need 2 things for the pretty sprinkled rim on the glasses.

All you do is dip the rim of the glass in corn syrup and then give it a quick spin in a dish full of sprinkles.  Simple as can be! Stick a fun paper straw inside the glass (mason jars make great milkshake glasses!) and/or maybe even some whipped cream (with more sprinkles!) if you like. Adding some edible glitter is another fun way to make your shake sparkle.
