Here&#039;s how my grandmother cans - place the jars, rings, &#038; lids into boiling water.  Once it has boiled for a few minutes, remove with tongs &#038; potholders.  Pour the apple butter into the hot jars, and using your pot holder as protection, seal the jars with the lids &#038; seals.  Then turn upside down for 10-15 minutes, and then flip the jars right side up and let sit for at least 30 minutes or until completely cooled.  They will seal on their own :)]]></description>
