Since then, I’ve been making them as my GO-TO breakfast! For me, each batch makes about 22, so I freeze them and thaw about 5 a week. So when I am rushed in the morning, I don’t have to think about it, nor do I have to starve. These little nuggets have given my mornings a great start.

In fact, I just used a 28-oz. can of tomatoes and 2 8-oz. cans of tomato sauce in tonight’s Pasta Fagioli.
