I use it all the time!!! Works great actually I change it up all the time I stick to the basic recipe then sometime I try something different like this Time I added some generic laundry soap to it just for the color and extra cleaning power,,, you cannot really mess it up

I love that it cleans well and is so inexpensive to make. I don’t use essential oils in mine because they are expensive and I like the fresh clean smell of this laundry detergent without it.  I wanted to stir my mixture up after it gels so it would be easier to pour into my gallon bottles ( vinegar bottles).  I bought a racket ball racket at Walmart on sale and this really does the trick. It breaks up the gel so I can scoop some into my large measuring cup and pour it thru a large funnel into my bottles. This recipe lasts me about 10 months. It’s just me and my husband and I wash about 4 loads a week.

Still a savings.

It has been wonderful. Here’s a couple of my tips:
-Last time we just used one bucket but it ended up beginning to leak (ugh) save yourself a potentially very big mess and double bucket it:) 
-I use bar Castile soap but I’ll probably switch to liquid next time to save the annoying shredding lol. It makes the recipe a little more expensive but it is still super cheap and is more natural. It comes out to about $5/5 gallons 
-The recipe lasted 11 months for a family of two + a messy dog!! We have an HE washer and use 1/2 cup per load.
