Using oils successfully on the bottoms of feet is one of the most spread around myths of essential oils. Feet have large pores, yes, but that only means the numerous amount of sweat glands located here are excreting a lot more sweat than other areas of skin. Plus the skin is very thick. There were tests done supposedly of scientists putting their feet in vodka. You can look this up for more info. As a Young Living independent distributor, there are so many myths out there. Even spread by health store “pros.”

“Neat” means using the oils without mixing it with anything. Straight lavender on the scalp.

Hi Pat! Yep. The recipe is exactly the same just substitute the coconut oil for the olive oil and follow the same directions. We use coconut oil for most of our stuff because olive oil can irritate skin conditions like eczema. Enjoy!

Hi Stacey, I just came across this and I think I would like to use the coconut oil. Did you replace the olive oil for the coconut oil and then use the other oils.

My thoughts exactly! You wouldn't even have to heat it. 76-77 degrees and coconut oil is melted.
