Nannie's Hot Milk Cake
Servings: 1 9x13 cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Beat sugar & eggs for 5 minutes. Then add flour, baking powder, & salt, Mix well. Heat milk and butter to boiling point,. Add to mixture & mix well. Stir in vanilla last. Pour into a 9x13 cake pan that's been spraying with nonstick spray. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. on the 3rd rack.
