Easy Cheddar Onion Mini Biscuit Puffs

Servings: 2 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated flaky layer biscuits
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup finely minced onion
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • grated garlic or garlic powder to taste optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spray 24 miniature muffin pan cups with non-stick cooking spray. Carefully separate each biscuit into 3 thin layers of dough. Firmly press 1 layer onto bottom and up the sides of each cup; set aside. Make sure your biscuit dough stays in the fridge until you are ready to separate it, otherwise you will have a hard time separating it into layers.
  • In small mixing bowl beat together eggs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, onion, cheese, salt & pepper. Mix in garlic if you want to use it, but it's just an added option and not necessary. Mix well. Spoon about a tablespoon of the mixture into each biscuit-lined cup.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for about 12-14 minutes, or until they are lightly browned & puffed.
