Ingredients

  • 8 Ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 Cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Cup sour cream
  • 1-1/4 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1-1/4 Cup shredded pepper jack or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 Teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 to 2 Teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3-5 Splashes hot sauce
  • 16 Ounces cooked shrimp chopped
  • 2-3 Cloves garlic minced
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup pepper jack (or Monterey Jack) cheese, old bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce until smooth. I like to use a handheld mixer for this. Stir in the shrimp, garlic, & green onions. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish (I use a 2 quart baker or a pie dish) and top with the remaining cheddar and pepper jack cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the dip is bubbly and heated through. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can also mix all these ingredients in a sauce pot, add enough milk to thin it out - and serve it mixed in with pasta for one amazing Cheesy Shrimp Pasta dish.
  • Want to add a little kick? Switch out the seafood seasoning for Cajun seasoning
  • Be careful not to overbake this dip - bake just long enough to brown the edges & melt the cheese
  • On a low carb diet? Serve with celery sticks, cucumber rounds, or your favorite dipable veggie.
