Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Layer the chicken in a single layer in your baking dish. Season well with salt, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic powder.
In another bowl, stir together the cream cheese, garlic powder, & onion powder. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
Top with the half the chopped jalapenos & shredded cheese.
Cover with foil & bake for 35-40 minutes, until the chicken is done. Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of cooking to brown the cheese a little.
Sprinkle with the cooked bacon crumbles & chopped green onions. I like to sprinkle on a little extra chopped jalapeno too. I love the contrast of flavor between the cooked jalapeno & the fresh jalapeno.
