Frozen Cherry Limeade Pops


  • 2 c. fresh cherries pitted and chopped
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • Grated zest from one lime
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • Optional: vanilla or cherry yogurt


  • Rinse and chop cherries and set aside.
  • Prepare the lime simple syrup by combining the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
  • When syrup is boiling, add lime zest and juice and remove from heat.
  • Fill freezer popsicle molds halfway with cherries, and then add the lime syrup. If you want to use yogurt, leave ½” at the top of the mold. If you’re not using yogurt, fill to the top of the mold with syrup.
  • Add popsicle sticks to all the molds.
  • Cover and freeze. If using yogurt, freeze for about an hour and then add the yogurt. Doing it this way defines the layers.
  • To remove the pops from the mold, run the mold under warm water.
