Fried Pork Tenderoin Sandwich

Ingredients

  • pork cube steaks
  • all purpose flour
  • seasoned salt
  • black pepper
  • buttermilk or milk
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • This is one of those great 'no recipe' recipes! Start off with your cube steaks, however many you are using. Pour enough flour in a dish to coat your cube steaks. Season the flour with seasoned salt and black pepper. In another dish, pour some buttermilk or milk into it. Dredge the pork cube steaks in the flour mixture, then into the wet mixture, and then back into the dry. Set the coated cube steaks aside for 15 minutes for the flour to 'adhere' to the meat, that way it all stays on during frying. After they have sat for 15 minutes, give them another dredge in the flour and heat enough oil for frying in a skillet. Fry the cube steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side until done and golden brown.
For the sandwich, I slather mayonnaise on white bread with some lettuce and lay the fried pork tenderloin in between the bread slices. So good!
