Take the bacon and wrap it around the hot dog - and then slowly cook it in a skillet, rotating often, until the bacon is cooked and crispy. By this time, the hot dog will be perfectly cooked too.
After you get your bacon wrapped hot dog cooked, it’s time to add the L & T (lettuce and tomato!)
Slather your hot dog bun with mayonnaise. Next add your lettuce. I like to use a leaf lettuce for this such as romaine. It’s shape naturally ‘hugs’ the hot dog and it just fits better. Shredded lettuce also works well. Next, add your sliced tomato and a little bit of black pepper on the tomato to taste.
