BLT Hot Dogs


  • beef hot dogs
  • bacon
  • mayonnaise
  • lettuce
  • ripe red tomato sliced
  • black pepper to taste
  • hot dog buns


  • Take the bacon and wrap it around the hot dog - and then slowly cook it in a skillet, rotating often, until the bacon is cooked and crispy. By this time, the hot dog will be perfectly cooked too. 
  • After you get your bacon wrapped hot dog cooked, it’s time to add the L & T (lettuce and tomato!)
  • Slather your hot dog bun with mayonnaise. Next add your lettuce. I like to use a leaf lettuce for this such as romaine. It’s shape naturally ‘hugs’ the hot dog and it just fits better. Shredded lettuce also works well.
  • Next, add your sliced tomato and a little bit of black pepper on the tomato to taste.
