This seems like a recipe that would freeze well and then bake later.  Do you think it needs to be totally thawed before baking or could it be baked out of the freezer?

If you double it inside a small pan, then yes – you will need to cook about 10 minutes longer. However, if you use a larger pan like I did (a 9×13 dish) – the baking time should stay the same.

I’ve made it several times now and we love it. It’s so easy to make, and it takes just a few ingredients. I live in a house with two carnivores, so I add a lb of cooked ground beef to the spaghetti sauce. That’s the only change I made. Thank you so much for posting this!!! 😀

I added ground beef to the sauce. I used a family size jar of pasta sauce. So hearty and great meal.
