Yes, you would need to scramble eggs first or they might not get done before the crescent rolls browned.

You can use any filling you like just make sure its not to wet of a filling. Sausage would work great.

I just made cabbage rolls too. For the first time since high school, when they served them often. Always loved them. Did you use Crescent rolls for cabbage rolls?

Everyone i’ve made this for loves it. The only thing I do differently is to leave uncut while baking and slice after it cools a bit. I also sometimes add sautéed onion or jalapeño to the filling. Oh, and I use American and cheddar instead of Velveeta. I only use velveeta in Mac and cheese.

The recipe sounds fabulous of course. Bacon and cheese what more could you want. However my favoritepart is your description and shall we say rather loud discussion with your taste buds. Glad I am not alone in having those type of discussions. This is my first recipe from your site and I cannot wait to check out many more.

I think that would be easier, you get the same results as fixing them and then moving them to the pan.
