Christmas Tree Cake Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 sticks Butter softened
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes crumbled
  • 2 containers White Frosting
  • Red Cookie Icing
  • Green Sanding Sugar

Instructions

  • Start by adding your flour, salt, and baking soda to a bowl. Whisk together and set aside.
  • In a large bowl cream together your butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add in your vanilla and eggs. Beat until smooth.
  • Slowly add your flour mixture, until fully combined. Mixing as you add.
  • Fold your Christmas Tree Cakes into the dough. Until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Chill dough for one hour before baking to prevent over spreading.
  • Using your cookie dough scoop, drop dough onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes or until cookies are slightly golden. Let cool.
  • Ice each cookie with white frosting. Using your piping bag and tip. Top each one with red lines, using the cookie icing, and green sanding sugar.
