Copycat Little Debbie Christmas Donuts

Servings: 2.5 Dozen Donuts

Equipment

  • Wire Rack
  • parchment paper
  • Piping Bag
  • Donut Pan
  • Baker's Joy CookingSpray

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • ¾ cup of Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons of Melted Butter
  • ¾ cup of Frosted Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer
  • 1 lb. of White Melting Chocolate
  • 1 cup of Red Melting Chocolate
  • Green Sanding Sugar
  • Coconut Oil optional

Instructions

  • Start by adding your flour, baking soda, sugar and baking powder to a mixing bowl. Whisk together.
  • Add in your eggs, vanilla, melted butter, and creamer. Beat on high until well combined and smooth.
  • Pour batter into your piping bag and spray down your pan with cooking spray. Fill each well HALFWAY with batter, using your piping bag. Do not overfill.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Just until they are baked through. Do not overbake. They will become dry. You want soft and bouncy. Let cool.
  • Melt down your white melting chocolates. Place in the microwave in one minute intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth. I like to add a teaspoon of coconut oil, but this isn’t necessary. It just makes your chocolate smoother.
  • Dip each donut in white chocolate. Place on a wire rack with parchment paper under the rack. Immediately sprinkle with green sanding sugar before chocolate sets. Let chocolate harden.
  • Melt down your red melting chocolates in the same manner. Pour into a piping bag and cut off a small tip.
  • Create 3 to 4 lines of red chocolate across the top of each donut, as shown. Gently pound your rack on a hard surface to smooth out the lines. Let chocolate set.
  • Serve and enjoy. Little Debbie better watch out! These donuts are amazing!
