Praline Sauce for Any Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1.5 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/2 C heavy whipping cream
  • 2 C chopped pecans I like to toast mine first in a little butter in a hot skillet but it’s not completely necessary

Instructions

  • Combine the brown sugar with the butter in a small saucepan.
  • Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  • Increase heat, and bring to a boil.
  • Mix in the heavy cream, then the chopped pecans.
  • Remove from the heat, cool slightly, and serve!
