Cooked to Death Green Beans


  • 1 pound fresh green beans washed & trimmed of any stems (you can sub frozen green beans but they won't be AS good)
  • 4 cups chicken broth or more to cover
  • salt & pepper to taste


  • Place the green beans in a large pot. Cover with chicken broth. Bring to a boil, put on a lid, and turn the heat to low. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
