My Favorite Beauty Products & They’re All Affordable!
These are my favorite beauty products! After many years of trial & error, here’s a list of my tried & true beauty must-haves – and they’re all affordable!
I haven’t done a beauty post in a quite a while here on the Mrs, so I’d say we’re quite overdue. But, I’m a little bit obsessed when it comes to skincare & such so I figure it’s about darn time that I do a little more talking about things like that.
Over the years, I’ve tried more beauty products than I can even list. I’m kind of obsessed with finding the perfect skin care products & who knows how many different lotions, serums, & masks I’ve bought over the years. I don’t even want to think about the money spent on them all – especially since so very many of them just didn’t work like it was advertised to.
I know their is no miracle products, but after all these years – I have finally found products that I love & won’t break the bank either. You won’t find any $80 products here! These are my favorite beauty products & I think they’re pretty darn amazing.
Let’s start with the face.
I adore these products & they’re all apart of my beauty regimen – which I’m also listing for the skincare fanatics out there like me. I’ve noticed a huge change in my skin since I started using these fabulous products. I get a lot of compliments on my skin too, which is always nice when it happens!
Check out the reviews on these items too – I’m not the only one who has great success with them!
Dermisa Skin Fade Cream – I am prone to hyperpigmentation, & this stuff works great on it! It’s also great for acne scars & such. I use this every other night & it has erased 75% of my hyperpigmentation. It’s phenomenal!
Watts Beauty Signature Wrinkle Retinol Hyaluronic Serum – this is great for anti-aging, wrinkles/fine lines, dull skin, age spots, uneven skin tones, skin tightening, etc. It’s completely free of parabens, fillers, & chemical fragrances. I use this every morning & every night.
Pura d’or 100% Pure & Organic Argan Oil – This stuff is great for anti-aging, dry skin, dull skin, & pretty much all around great skin. I use this every morning & every night after using the Watts Beauty Serum. I wait a few minutes before putting it on to allow the Watts Beauty Serum to sink in. It doesn’t leave my skin oily as some people might think – it absorbs really fast leaving the skin soft, not oily. It’s also fabulous for hair, nails, & the rest of your body’s moisturizing needs.
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask – This is advertised as being the world’s most powerful facial & I have to say that I agree. I’ve always had large pores (especially on my nose) that are prone to clogging. This mask not only clears my pores, but has also shrunk my pores dramatically. It’s also great for acne, anti-aging, & just all around great skin. You are supposed to mix it with either warm water or apple cider vinegar – but apple cider vinegar is the best option. You can buy normal apple cider vinegar from the store, but I prefer mixing mine with Bragg Raw Apple Cider Vinegar. I use this once a week or once every other week. After I use it, I moisturize with the Watts Beauty Serum & the Argan Oil.
DIY Aspirin Mask – I have been using this one for years, and I absolutely love it! Aspirin contains a crystalline compound called acetylsalicylic acid that helps with anti-aging & anti-acne. I use it twice a week, but you can use it as often as every other day. After using, I moisturize with the Watts Beauty & Argan Oil.
Dead Sea Mud Triple Milled Soap with Argan Oil & Shea Butter – this is what I use to wash my face with, and it’s so great! It costs about $3-$4 a bar, and it lasts a couple months. It’s such a fabulous product!
Albolene – this is what I use to take off my make-up, & the makeup comes right off. After I use this to remove my makeup, I wash my face with the dead sea mud soap. It’s also supposed to promote younger looking skin.
***And sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. Wear it daily!***
And as my Mama has said over & over since I can remember – drink your water! Water is so great for your skin!
See, Mama even texts me reminders to drink my water. Beautiful skin, people! Go drink some water! 🙂
Here’s some other various products that I absolutely love!
At Home Professional Teeth Whitening Kit – this is seriously the best thing ever when it comes to teeth whitening. Way better than those whitening strips, & WAY cheaper. One of these lasts me at least a year! I’m still amazed by how well this works. It comes with a blue light thingy, but I don’t use it – I find that it works just as good without using it.
Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Callus Remover – this right here is the secret to baby soft feet! I’ve never used anything that worked as good as this does. I use this every other day – and then I follow it with some of the Argan Oil I mentioned earlier.
Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm – moisture for your lips with fabulous color! I wear this everywhere. My go-to shade is the Cherry Me – and at under $3, you can’t beat it!
Supergoop Sunscreen – best sunscreen EVER and all I will use.
I know what a pain it is to find quality beauty products at an affordable price. I’ve had many, many trials & errors over the years with tons of various products – and I hope that you’ve been able to find these tested & true products that I love helpful in your own beauty routines!
Crystal I am definitely checking out these products and agree you have beautiful skin can I ask what skin type you are because I have oily skin and I find it hard to use certain product sometimes that may cause breakouts thanks
I have combination skin, Gwen. It’s oily in the t-zone area (forehead, nose, & chin) – so I can definitely relate with that. I was wary about trying the argan oil in particular on my face thinking it would make me oilier – but it absorbs quickly and I haven’t had any issues it or any of the other products I listed causing me any breakouts. Hope this helps! 🙂
Yes thank you!
How long do your tubes of Younique mascara last? I have recently started using it also and I love it…but now I’m curious how much this is going to cost me
Mine last me about 2 months – I’m so hopelessly addicted to that mascara! 🙂
Thank you for the fascinating article! A lot of us are sick and tired of paying a lot of money for products.
