Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwich – leftover turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, and cranberry sauce piled between two slices of bread.

As much as I love the actual Thanksgiving meal, sometimes I think I like the leftovers even more. Sometimes I crave a Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwich more than I crave the dinner itself!

I just love the flavors of all the different components together on a sandwich.

What ingredients do I need to make a Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwich?

The main components of a Thanksgiving Sandwich are these:

• dressing/stuffing (click here for my favorite dressing recipe)
• cranberry sauce (click here for my cranberry sauce recipe)
• gravy
• lettuce (optional)
• bread
• mayonnaise (optional)

How do I make a Thanksgiving Sandwich?

Just assemble your sandwich components between two pieces of bread! You can also get super fancy and make some of my Dressing Bread (which is like dressing, but sliceable) and use that as the bread pieces.

I like to use white bread for a Thanksgiving sandwich, but that’s just my personal preference. First, I slather my bread with mayonnaise. Then, I lay on my lettuce, mashed potatoes, turkey, & dressing…

And finally the gravy & cranberry sauce. Then I top it with the other pieces of mayo coated bread.
