Start by adding all ingredients to a pot.
Whisk together ingredients until well incorporated.
Bring to a boil and then allow to simmer, stirring often, until it becomes thick. Do not let it burn! Give it a quick taste test at this point, and add additional sweeter if you wish. I used ¾ a cup but you can add an additional ¼ cup if you wish.
Pour into a mason jar and allow to cool. Then refrigerate.
Serve and enjoy on ice cream, strawberries, chocolate milk, and more. The possibilities are endless.
