Green Beans with Bacon & Caramelized Onions

Green Beans with Bacon & Caramelized Onions
Ingredients
- fresh green beans
- bacon
- red onion cut into strips
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Cook your bacon until crispy in a skillet. Drain on a paper towel. Drain some of the grease, leaving 2 tablespoons in the skillet.
- Steam the green beans for about 6 minutes, or desired tenderness.
- Add the sliced red onion to the hot bacon grease. Saute until caramelized. Stir in green beans. Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring often. Season with salt & pepper.







I made this but I added tomatoes and it was delish!
