Make Ahead Lattes
You only need 3 ingredients to make these Make Ahead Lattes! You can customize them with whatever flavors & diet needs you want. So good!
You can buy flavored coffees and lattes in the refrigerated section in grocery stores all around the country. In a ton of different flavors – some with cow’s milk, some with soy milk, some with almond milk, etc etc etc.
But did you know that is so super easy to make your own at home? Like, really really easy! And you can customize the flavors and the milks to make the perfect coffee beverage for yourself.
Today, I’m going to show you how to make your own delicious make ahead lattes that you can customize for your own flavor & diet needs!
What do I need to make these Make Ahead Lattes?
You only need 3 ingredients!
- Milk – you can use cow’s milk, soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc etc etc
- Flavoring syrup – Vanilla is my favorite! You can use hazelnut, raspberry, mocha, etc
- Brewed Coffee
Where do I find flavoring syrup at?
I get mine in the same aisle as the coffee & coffee beans are sold in my grocery store. You can also find them online like on Amazon, Walmart, etc. Some coffee shops may let you buy some of their speciality flavorings from them too.
If you’re watching your sugar intake, you can also buy these flavoring syrups in sugar free!
How do I prepare these Make Ahead Lattes?
It’s so easy!
Just combine all the ingredients together and stir it up! Pour the mixture into a large mason jar(s) or other leak pro storage container. Store in the fridge.
How long can you store it for?
That depends on the expiration date on the milk that you use. Some milk’s have a longer shelf life than others. When you make your lattes, write the milk expiration date on the container (I like to use these dissolvable labels) and that will be how long you can keep your make ahead lattes for.
Do you serve these make ahead lattes hot or cold?
Up to you! You can drink them straight out of the fridge, over ice – or heat up a cup in the microwave or on the stovetop.
This recipe can also be kept in a crockpot to get warm and then served at a party or gathering. You can double or triple the recipe to do so easily too.
Should I top it or garnish it with anything or serve it as is?
That’s totally up to you! I drink mine as is – over ice. Sometimes I heat it up. Every once in a while, if I want a treat – I will stir in some jarred caramel and top it with whipped cream. So, the answer is – it’s good plain. It’s good with toppings. It’s just good! 🙂
