One of my favorite things to make is homemade ice cream.  But I like to make it the super easy way, with no churning, and no machine needed.  Did you know with just a little whipped cream and a can of sweetened condensed milk, you can whip up a quick and delicious easy ice cream base?  From there, stir in other mix-ins to create whatever flavor you’d like!

Like, perhaps, stir in a little chocolate syrup and crushed Oreos.

Which is exactly what I did to create this easy Chocolate Cookies and Cream Ice Cream.   To make this deliciousness, simply whip up some whipped cream, stir in sweetened condensed milk and a touch of chocolate syrup, and fold in crushed Oreos.  It’s truly that easy!

Pop it in the freezer, and about 4 to 6 hours later you’ll be digging into an irresistible bowl of ice cream.  Homemade ice cream, that is … made the easy way.

Chill a large mixing bowl and the beaters of an electric mixer (or whisk attachment of a stand mixer) in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and pour the whipping cream into the chilled bowl. Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form.

Spoon into a freezer safe container, cover, and freeze for about 4 hours or overnight.
