4 Ingredient Blueberry Cobbler
My parents have massive blueberry bushes in their backyard that produce bundles of fresh, juicy blueberries. The kids & I went over this summer and picked a good bit to take home with us. The plan was to pick plenty so we’d have some to put back in the freezer for the winter. It didn’t exactly go like that though. Apparently, my family can’t have fresh blueberries on hand without completely gorging on them like popcorn at the movie theater.
I was able to snatch just enough from the purple stained hands of my blueberry loving youngins to make my favorite blueberry cobbler. It’s my favorite not only because it’s so yummy but also because it’s such a fast & easy recipe. The cast of ingredients is only 4 – yup, 4 ingredients! It’s so simple, I have it memorized… which, unless it’s a song lyric from 1994, is a pretty bit feet. 😉
I usually use yellow cake mix for this recipe but sometimes I use lemon instead for a little twist and boy is that good too!
Serve with a dollop of vanilla ice cream for an even more decadent treat.
Scroll down for the recipe – such a delicious dessert recipe with only 4 ingredients is something you definitely don’t want to pass by. 🙂

4 Ingredient Blueberry Cobbler
Ingredients
- 3 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 box yellow cake mix lemon is great too for a nice switch up!
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Mix together the blueberries & sugar. Spread the blueberry/sugar mixture into the bottom of your baking dish. Whisk together the cake mix & melted butter; sprinkle over the blueberries.
- Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
I have done this for years, but never added sugar to my blueberries. The cake mix adds enough sweet for wonderfully sweet berries. Thanks for reminding me of a favorite. My folks also have lots of yummy blueberries that have grown up wild all over their property.
Looks yummy … How are you and the kids doing ? I haven’t asked in a while so I thought I would ask I usually lurk …
