Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons

Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup.

A classic.

Right?

It’s been a favorite meal of mine ever since I was a little girl -and luckily my children & husband loves it just as much as I do.

A few weeks ago, I was making us a lunch of it – and decided to do something just a little different.  I usually slice the grilled cheese in half and serve it alongside a bowl of soup – but this time I cut the sandwich into little squares…. Grilled Cheese croutons!

Now, instead of dunking the sandwiches you can eat them with a spoon.  Genius.

Yum! I need to do that! But I would also want a grilled cheese on the side as well b/c I am obsessed with them:)

    • Don’t worry – I’ll be bringing mine to the Mrs before too long 🙂 This was more of a tip than a recipe.
