Homemade Strawberry Bread (Strawberries & Cream Bread)
We love this homemade Strawberry Bread! It’s made with fresh strawberries and tastes like Strawberries and Cream (aka Strawberries & Cream Bread).
Try using other fruits/berries in it too – this is a very versatile recipe and is my ‘go-to’ fruit bread.Â
This Strawberry and Cream Bread is one of my favorite breads to make. A slice of this makes a super delicious breakfast, snack, brunch, or dessert. It’s easy to make and so full of flavor. Plus, it’s so easy to switch up with different fruits. Don’t feel like strawberries? Use peaches or blueberries – blackberries or raspberries. Even apples are delicious!
It’s amazing both warm and cold. It’s good plain BUT if you want an extra special treat, try it warm with a smudge of Nutella on it. Oh my… It makes me swoon just a little. 😉
If you have any left over after a couple of days, make a few slices into French toast. It’s amazing, you guys!
Or, really level up your breakfast game and use this Strawberries and Cream Bread in my Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast.

If you like the combination of fruit and cream, you will probably also love my Peaches and Cream Cake – it’s won a few blue ribbons!

Hi, are you okay? I haven’t seen any emails from you in some time, hope everything is okay. I wrote to you a couple of years back, I’m Marshall, I grew up in Charlotte but haven’t lived there since I was 16 and left for college. I went to work for Delta and am now retired and live in Covington so we aren’t to far from each other. Again I hope y’all are all okay.
This recipe is identical to a family recipe that is at least 70 years old. We use cherries instead of strawberries and sometimes add almond extract. I also make it will chocolate chips instead of fruit. It freezes very well and is a Christmas tradition in Newfoundland to have several loafs of cherry cake on hand. I’m definitely going to try this with strawberries.
I use a room temperature stick of butter, 2-3 T. Powdered Sugar & maybe 1/4c. Chopped up strawberries mixed well with very little juice, to make s nice butter for your bread. It’s kind of a, eye-it recipe…..make it how you like! Lol Hope you are well! Love watching you!
