Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce
This Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce has just 2 ingredients! You can make it as an appetizer or you can use up your leftover cranberry sauce with this recipe.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I love brie so much that I could probably eat it every single day and never get tired of it. There are very, very few things in the world that I can say that about!
I’m always coming up with new ways to serve baked brie – it’s so versatile!
Today, I want to share with you this deliciously easy Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce. Not only is this an impressive appetizer to serve at a holiday dinner (or just to veg on the couch with by yourself!) – but it’s also a fantastic way to use up any leftover cranberry sauce you may have.
What ingredients do I need to make this Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce?
It’s super simple. Only 2 ingredients (unless you use the herbs) if you already have your cranberry sauce on hand!
- a round or wedge of brie
- cranberry sauce
- fresh rosemary (optional)
If you need a good recipe for homemade cranberry sauce, this is my favorite ever and it only has 4 ingredients! It’s the same cranberry sauce recipe that you see in the pictures.
You will also need something to dip inside your brie – you can use a variety of things! In the pictures, I have pita crackers. Another favorite cracker to dip in this for me are those pretzel crackers. Of course, there are so many more options than just crackers! I’m talking apple slices, bread, crostini, etc.
This baked brie with cranberry sauce also makes a fabulous topping for a turkey burger! Just sayin’ 🙂
So, I know what goes in it. How do I prepare it?
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
I like to slice the very top rind off of my wheel of brie, this is a personal preference. It’s 100% edible so you can leave it on if you like. I placed my brie round in a mini pie plate but you can use a parchment paper lined baking sheet too (for easy clean up). Alternatively, you can also use a triangle of brie.
Top the brie with cranberry sauce, as much or as little as you like. You can also top with fresh herbs, such as rosemary, if you like. You can do this before it goes into the oven – or as garnish after it comes out of the oven. My personal presence is to top it with fresh rosemary after it’s done baking, right before serving.
Bake for 6-8 minutes. Serve warm.
