Ghoulish Monster Mash Mudslides + a Goosebumps GIVEAWAY!
They did the mash, they did the monster mash. The monster mash. It was a graveyard smash.
Yeah, whenever that song plays – I totally break out in song…. much to the dismay of anyone within 500 feet of me. Let’s just say that my singing skills are far below that of my cooking skills. Far, far, far below.
Maybe I should avoid the whole singing part, and occupy my mouth another way – say maybe with a ghhoouulllisshh (said in my best ghost voice) Monster Mash Mudslide. That’s quite a good idea too because they taste way better than my singing sounds.
They couldn’t be simpler to make either. If you cake make a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, you can do this. 🙂
Here’s what you need:
Measure out 4 cups of TruMoo chocolate milk, and pour it into a blender. Now, toss in 10 chocolate wafer cookies. Press that blend button, and you’re well on your way to a great treat.
Pour your blended perfection into a glass. Top with a dollop of Cool Whip – or a squirt of whipped cream in a can. I used Cool Whip, and used a spoon to mold a ghoulish-like shape. Now, your ghost needs a face! I used Reese’s Pieces… I cut an orange one in half for the eyes, and then used a whole brown one for the mouth. You could also use mini chocolate chips or mini chocolate candies.
My kids loved these. Even the bigger kids – you know… me & my husband – loved ’em. My 3 year old kind of ganked the rest of mine though…. told ya the kids loved them.
And by the way – the only reason this image has a blue border is because little man insisted I put it there. Anything to make the youngin’ happy… at least when it’s as easy as a simple beverage & a blue border 😀
