It’s a Snackadium {with Pillsbury!)
Ok, so I won’t lie. I don’t like football.
But, every year I end up cooking up a feast of football food & sitting down to read a magazine watch it… And, then there’s always super bowl commercials!
So, when Pillsbury asked me to create a Snackadium using their crescent roll & pizza dough, I was excited to pick up the challenge! What is a Snackadium? It’s a stadium consisting of snack food that resembles a football field & stadium, usually consisting of dips, chips, & anything else you could possibly imagine.
My first step ended up being a basic blueprint. Or not. Ok, yes – I borrowed my kids’ crayons for this. It’s busy mom’s version of a blueprint…. a momprint? It was a basic print. I changed a couple of things in the end, but this was the general idea of assembly.
So, once I had it mapped out – I headed out to WalMart. By myself. Mr. HH was watching the kiddos, all 3 of them. So, I drove real slow. And, I walked really slow. It was like a mini vacation.
And here’s my haul….
This is how my Snackadium breaks down:
Field
- Guacamole
- Queso Dip
- Salsa
- Sour Cream lines piped with a ziploc bag with the corner snipped off
- Football players on sidelines: Stuffed Crust Pizza Snacks with Pillsbury Pizza Crust
- Football goals: beef jerky (see below)
Fans:
- Chex Mix
- Tortilla Chips
- Potato Chips
- Bugles
Surrounding Wall:
- 2 batches Baked Ham & Swiss Sliders
- 3 batches Pigs in the Blanket with Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- Stadium Lighting – Cheesesticks (8-10)
Other ingredients:
- toothpicks
- aluminum foil
For the field, you’ll need to make a divider. I assembled mine out of tin foil & a 9×13 baking pan. I just used a really big piece, and then bent sections for the dividers. You’ll want one larger section in the middle (the field) and a smaller section on each end (end zones).
The guacamole goes in the center, with sour cream lines piped on. Queso on one side & salsa on the other.
I placed a jelly roll pan under the guacamole pan. I assembled the Stuffed Crust Pizza Snacks (the players) on the ‘sidelines’. Then I started building the wall. I spaced my Baked Ham & Swiss Sliders evenly along the outside. Then, I stacked the Pigs in the Blanket on top of those.
I made the field goals from beef jerky & toothpicks, just like so:
I poured the snacks in each section. It took about 1 bag of each (I used Bugles, Chex Mix, Tortilla Chip Bowls, & Potato Chips).
I made the stadium lights from a cheesestick & 2 toothpicks, and I placed those carefully in the hot dog portion of the crescent rolls to stabilize them.
My husband kids squealed when they saw this!
We had so much fun making this, and EATING this! Yum!! Plus, we had leftovers, so I didn’t have to cook lunch the next day. Huge plus.

I have partnered with Pillsbury through DailyBuzz to help promote their Crescent Roll and Pizza Crust products. I have been compensated for my time commitment to work with this product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments. Thank you Pillsbury for this awesome opportunity to create a Snackadium!
