Little Debbie Christmas Tree Dip
We love Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes! It seems that they are becoming increasingly popular recently too.

Last year, I shared a recipe card that I received for a dip made from the infamous Christmastime snack cakes on my Facebook page and folks went absolutely crazy over it. There were some people who thought it sounded delicious and wanted to make it and then there were those who thought it was way too much sugar and just gross.

Truth be told, I was one of the ones who thought it sounded kind of gross and didn’t want any part of it. Well, fast forward to this year and the recipe image started getting more traction again.. so, I decided to take one for the team and give it a test run. And you know what? It’s actually really delicious! It reminds me of a cake batter flavored cheesecake.

it’s delicious served as a dip and it also makes a fabulous filling for cookie sandwiches. We took a couple of sugar cookies and made Little Debbie Christmas tree cake sugar cookies sandwiches. Now that’s a mouthful, try saying that one three times fast!

Obviously you’re going to need some Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes. One box will do, plus an extra cake for garnish.

Here’s the cast of ingredients:

  • One box Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes
  • One 8 ounce package cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • One 8 ounce tub of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • Red and green sprinkles, for garnish
  • edible glitter spray (optional)
  • cookies, fruit, or other “dippables” for serving

You simply mix the first 4 ingredients together in a food processor or blender until smooth and creamy. Next, garnish the Christmas tree dip with red and green sprinkles. I also decided to give it a quick spray of some edible glitter for an added festive touch.
