Make ‘Em a Gift Basket – Plus a HomeGoods Giveaway!
Have no idea what to get that hard-to-buy-for person on your list for Christmas? Make them a foodie gift basket! Everyone loves yummy treats!
There is an awesome giveaway from HomeGoods going on at the bottom of this post – YAY!
I seriously can’t believe that Christmas is almost here. Christmas always comes super fast….and is over super fast. But, when it comes down to something such as a dentist appointment, time goes by super slow. I’d much rather enjoyable stuff go by slow, & the painful crappy stuff to go by with lightening speed. I mean – really, don’t ya think?
In a perfect world…. Right? In a perfect world, I’d have a money tree in the backyard & a goose who lays golden eggs too. Or better yet, a maid. Or even kids who clean up after themselves, can load a dishwasher correctly, & refill the ice trays. I know, I know – keep dreaming.
People can be so hard to shop for when it comes to Christmas presents. However, one way you can always please everyone on your list is with a delicious foodie inspired gift basket. Who doesn’t like food? We all gotta eat – might as well make it delicious! HomeGoods carries a huge variety of delicious gourmet food that it’s easy to pick out a few things to make one heck of a yummy gift for someone on your list.
Seriously, HomeGoods’ shelves are stocked with all sorts of really delectable things.
You could do a variety of different ideas to suit people on your list. You could do large gift baskets or small ones – or obviously anything in between.
I made an absolutely fabulous gift basket that anyone would go crazy over. Heck, I’d even gift it for myself. But, my parents are going to be the recipients of this one…. obviously Mama is a foodie being I got the whole cooking gene from her & Daddy just likes anything sweet & edible. I may have even placed a phone call to my mom earlier today & warned her no matter what they did – don’t open this post. Now, let’s just see if she can resist the temptation… 😉
Look at all this awesome food swag I got! It was SO hard to choose but I think I made some awesome choices! YUMMM!
They have a huge variety of vessels that you could use as gift baskets – a huge opportunity to get creative! I really loved the awesome vessel I found. It reminded me of an old fashioned grocery basket, and they had them in a variety of sizes too. You could make small, medium, or large gift baskets with these – I was making a pretty large gift basket, so I went with the large one.
I almost went with this one – before I found the awesome grocery basket one.
HomeGoods had gift tags, cellophane, & ribbons too – everything you needed to make your own gift basket, all in one place. That made it super convenient!
I couldn’t have been any simpler to put this together. I put everything in my little grocery basket – making sure I put the taller items in the back & the shorter items in front.
Then, I wrapped the whole thing in cellophane – gathering up the ends up top. I taped the gathering with invisible tape to secure it – and then wrapped it with some really pretty Christmas ribbon that I found at HomeGoods too.
Oh – and check out this adorable gift tag that I found there! Super cute!
I attached that to the cellophane gathering on my gift basket too – and this is the beautiful-ness I created!
I’m so proud of myself! I’m definitely not a super crafty lady – and this thing looks professional! Yay!!
Any foodie would love to have this under their Christmas tree!
And if you don’t want to do a huge one like I did – there are so many smaller gift baskets you could make too from the HomeGoods‘ shelves! Check these ideas out – there is sure to be something to make someone on your list very happy!
For the coffee lovers on your list – I was able to very easily put together a gift basket perfect suited for that. A large box of gourmet coffee k-cups, some flavored coffee syrups, chocolate toffee biscotti for dipping, & of course – a Moscow Mule Mug to brew your coffee in. Yes, they have dishes & such too!
Everyone has a sweet tooth on their list – right? Well, check this out!
And everyone likes chocolate – right?
Cookies anyone? Santa would be very ho-ho-ho-happy to get this with his milk 😉
You seriously can’t go wrong with a gift basket filled with delicious yumminess like this – am I right or what?
And guess what? HomeGoods is generously offering up one $50 gift card to one lucky reader! Woot woot! Now, that’ll make anyone #HomeGoodsHappy!
