My Favorite Ways to use Thanksgiving Leftovers

Hey y’all I hope that y’all had a great Thanksgiving! I wanted to quickly hop on here to share with y’all my personal favorite ways to use up those Thanksgiving leftovers & make new dishes out of them. Now, I’m not going to share a huge ton of recipe here as I’m just talking about my favorites – not every recipe on the internet.

thanksgiving dinner - ham, turkey and gravy, biscuit, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, cranberry salad and stuffing

This is gonna be fast too as I’m just sharing a few. My favorites 🙂

TurkeyBrunswick Stew, hands down, is my favorite way to use up all the leftover turkey. I do it every year and I don’t see that changing any time soon. My recipe calls for shredded chicken, but I just swap it out for the leftover turkey & make the recipe otherwise the same. You can’t even tell a difference! We will have the Brunswick Stew for dinner that night, and then I will freeze the rest. I swear it tastes better after you’ve frozen it and reheated it. So good. Here’s a good tip for freezing this in individual portions.

Ham – Y’all, I can never get enough of this Ham & Bean Soup. It’s the best I’ve ever had. It was also one of Mike’s favorite meals ever. Good reason too, it’s absolutely delicious. It freezes beautifully too!

Stuffing – I love making these Mozzarella Stuffing Balls with leftover stuffing. Half of my stuffing, I honestly just reheat as it is in the microwave and eat up. I mean, stuffing – yum. But you know what’s ever better? Taking the cold stuffing, placing a cube of cheese in the center, and molding the stuffing around the cheese to seal it… and then deep frying it. Oh yes. It’s delicious. You’ll be so glad you did.

Cranberry Sauce – I’m the only one who eats cranberry sauce in the house, but I still make it from scratch every year. I just love it, so I make it. I always have leftovers, and it’s a good thing too because even my cranberry sauce hating family look forward to these Cranberry Streusel Bars. They are reason enough to make two batches of cranberry sauce just to make sure you have enough for a batch or two of the cranberry bars.
