Italian Sub Crescent Ring

If you’re a huge lover of Italian Subs like I am, you’re going to love this Italian Sub Crescent Ring. It’s so yummy & it’s ready in 30 minutes. Italian Sub Crescent Ring

I’ve had a long time love affair going with a good Italian sub. I craved them like crazy when I was pregnant with my son – and the craving never went away after delivering him.  I adore them. They’ve gotta be made right though – you know what I mean? There’s a big different between a good Italian sub & just a plain Italian sub. You other sub lovers know what I mean. If I’m going to waste my calories on something, the taste best be worth it! Too bad you can’t get refunds on calories for those things that don’t taste as good as you expected!

This is why I choose to make a lot of things myself.  Then I can usually insure the finished product is going to be delicious – unless something goes horribly wrong, like you forget to turn your oven on during the cooking process.  Not like I’ve ever done that before 😉

Italian Sub Crescent Ring

We all know that I have a mighty keen love for crescent rolls & especially crescent rings. I’ve stuffed bacon & cheese in them, made breakfast in one, and even gone all philly cheesesteak style on one.  They’re easy & delicious – and hard to not fall in love with. So, mixing my love of the Italian sub with crescent rolls seemed like a plan…. and that it was. A yummy plan.

This recipe is super easy, super delicious, and super fast – we all love those kinds of recipes!

Here’s what you need:

Italian Sub Crescent Ring

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Unroll both cans of crescent roll dough and separate into 8 rectangles. Lay them out on a baking sheet or pizza pan in a circular pattern, leaving the middle hollow and ends overlapping… sort of like a sun shape.

Italian Sub Crescent Ring

Spread roasted red bell peppers towards the center of the crescent ring.

Top with half of the cheese. Layer salami, ham, and sandwich pepperoni slices over cheese.

Arrange the banana pepper rings over top. Cover with the remaining half of cheese.

Italian Sub Crescent Ring

Fold over each crescent dough rectangle hanging over side of the pan up over the sub filling, tucking the dough under the bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around sandwich until the filling is enclosed. Some of the filling will show through, but that’s ok.

Sprinkle with black pepper.
