- 1 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Hot Water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Start by adding all ingredients to a pot.
- Whisk together ingredients until well incorporated.
- Bring to a boil and then allow to simmer, stirring often, until it becomes thick. Do not let it burn! Give it a quick taste test at this point, and add additional sweeter if you wish. I used ¾ a cup but you can add an additional ¼ cup if you wish.
- Pour into a mason jar and allow to cool. Then refrigerate.
